Subjects and Methods

This study used a cross-sectional design carried out from July to September 2014. As many as 30 women with high risk involved as research subjects. For diagnosis, wet preparations are examined to detect the presence of parasites Trichomonas Vaginalis, as well as retrieval of questionnaires to collect data related to risk factors. The study population consisted of women who were 18 years old and above, who had multiple sexual partners, and who did not use safety during intercourse.

Research Result and Discussion

Of the total 30 subjects studied, 4 people were found infected Trichomonas Vaginalis, which means the proportion was 13.3%. These results indicate the spread of infections that need serious attention from public health.
