By using a qualitative approach and involving nine informants from the local community and three informants from the company, this research collects data through observation and direct interviews.

The presence of industries such as PT Inalum in this region brought a number of positive impacts. Among the most significant benefits is the creation of employment, which not only reaches the formal sector, but also the informal sector. The opening of this employment certainly provides additional income for local communities, which results in improving the quality of life.
