The method used to select a sample is purposive sampling, which allows researchers to focus on respondents who meet certain criteria. Of the 40 questionnaires distributed, there are 34 questionnaires that can be analyzed using multiple regression analysis with the help of SPSS 19 software.

Results

The results showed that simultaneously (through test f), the three independent variables - professional perceptions, ethical awareness, and auditor's independence - had a significant effect on the commitment of the public accountant profession. In partial analysis, it was found that each variable also had a positive influence on professional commitment.
