Teenagers are one of the most vulnerable groups to these changes, especially influenced by the surrounding environment, including the family environment, school, and social association. Understanding the factors that influence adolescent deviant behavior is crucial in developing effective interventions to reduce these negative impacts. This study aims to describe and analyze the factors that influence the behavior of adolescent deviant behavior in Kampung Kubur, Petisah Tengah Village, Medan Petisah District.

Theoretical Background

Social deviation theories are used that focus on adolescent deviant behavior, especially in promiscuity or free behavior in relationships. These theories emphasize the importance of understanding the underlying factors that contribute to deviant behavior, including internal and external factors. Internal factors refer to individual characteristics, such as age, level of intelligence, and wrong views or beliefs, which can influence an individual's behavior.
