Introduction

Katuk leaves (Sauropus Androgynus) and Guava Leaves (Psidium Guajava) are known to have antelmitting activity due to their secondary metabolitic content, such as alkaloids, flavonoids, glycosides, saponins, tannins, and steroids/triterpenoids. Pheretima Posthuma worm test animals are chosen because they have anatomical and physiological characteristics similar to worms that can be found in the human intestine. This study aims to determine the characterization of dried powder, the content of secondary metabolites in dry powder and extracts, as well as the activity of antelmitting from the combination of ethanol extract of katuk leaves and ethanol extract of guava leaves against Pheretima Posthuma.
