Comparison of the Existence of Mycobacterium leprae on the Ground with Polymerase Chain Reaction Techniques in Residential Areas Former Leprosy with Leprosy Sufferers on Sicanang Island Medan Belawan

Introduction

Leprosy, a chronic bacterial infection caused by Mycobacterium leprae, remains a significant health concern in many countries, including Indonesia. Leprae in the soil of residential areas former leprosy sufferers and settlements without leprosy sufferers on Sicanang Island, Medan Belawan, using the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) technique.
