Introduction

Chronic Suppurative Otitis Media (CSOM) is a significant health problem affecting various populations worldwide, resulting in high morbidity and mortality rates. One of the contributing factors to the occurrence of CSOM is dysfunction in the Eustachian tubes. The more horizontal Eustachian tubes can cause dysfunction and cleaning disorders of the middle ear. This study aims to evaluate the average tubal angle of the Eustachian and check the difference in angle in CSOM patients with and without cholesteatoma.

Analysis using an independent T test shows a significant difference (p <0.05) between the average tubal angle of the Eustachian in CSOM patients with and without cholesteatoma.
