Introduction

Urban farming or urban agriculture is increasingly popular as a solution to increase food availability in big cities. One interesting example is creative farmers in the city of Medan. This study aims to identify the factors of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the development of urban agriculture and formulate appropriate strategies to increase the potential of creative farmers. The method used in this study is descriptive and SWOT analysis, with respondents consisting of 8 people, namely three administrators and five active farmers in Creative Farmers.
